Description of Botanical Coloring Page: This fruit and the melon have been long cultivated in Syria and Egypt. In Isaiah. 1: 8 the desolation of Israel is compared to a lodge (the outlook raised on four poles) in a garden of cucumbers, a familiar sight in Palestine.
